Program Registration Information

1. One registration form must be completed for each child.

2. Registration is for the full fall session.

3. There is space for a maximum 10 participants in each program in order to maintain safe physical distancing practices. 

4. Should you require outreach services please contact Madeline prior to registration.

 

5. If your child requires inclusion services please download the Participant Information Form,   complete it and and upload it to your registration form. 

6. Please be sure you take note of the Parent & Participant Handbook, this has all the information regarding COVID-19 protocols and procedures.

Superheroes, Cartoons, and Anime Character Illustration

Wednesdays 5:00pm - 6:15pm

Grade 3 - 7

Learn how to draw faces, heads, hands and bodies in these three popular styles. Explore basic anatomy and pose your favourite character to create action and dynamic motion like the comic book professionals. Draw faces from all angles and discover techniques that convey expressions and emotions that will bring your characters to life! We will also explore the basics of Sequential Art for Comic Books and Comic Strips. 

Program starts on September 30th, $40 for 10 weeks.

Video Game Programming and Design for Beginners

Wednesdays 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Grades 4 - 7

Learn how to program your own real video games from start to finish. Participants will learn how to code video games, which they will be able to take home and play with friends and family. 

Introduces basic computer programming skills using a combination of drag and drop and the GML coding language. 

A fantastic chance for children to develop their artistic, math and communications skills.

Program starts September 30th, $50 for 10 weeks.

Girls' Club

Thursdays 6:00pm - 7:15pm

Grades 3 - 5

Come hang out in a fun and inclusive environment with other girls in the community. Take part in creative and wellness based activities, such as crafts or team building challenges, while having conversations centered around confidence, self-esteem, self-awareness, and identity.

Every week is different, so come join the fun!

Program starts October 1st, $30 for 10 weeks.

Mini Chefs

Tuesdays 5:45pm - 6:30pm

Grades SK - 2

It's never too early to be a wiz in the kitchen!

Make a different tasty creation each week while learning basic food prep skills like measuring ingredients, how to beat an egg, or how to safely cut fruit. Gain confidence,  social skills and important healthy eating knowledge.

Program starts September 29th, $40 for 10 weeks.

Cooking Creations

Tuesdays 6:45pm - 7:45pm

Grades 3 - 6

Plan, prepare and cook delicious dishes your whole family will enjoy. Each week you will learn how to make a new meal that involves local ingredients and common flavors from various countries. This is a great chance to build confidence in the kitchen while practicing your creativity!

Parents and Tots

Thursdays 10:00am - 11:00am

Preschool Ages 2-3

Have a coffee and relax with other parents while your pre-schooler has fun with our play-based learning activities guided by our friendly leaders. Each week we have new activities such as music,  stories, and sensory play planned for your little explorer. A great opportunity for your toddler to practice social learning while you socialize!

Program starts October 1st, $30 for 10 weeks.

Ages 50+

Shake off those COVID blues and join us for socializing and refreshments. Meet with others in our community while participating in various games and activities. Free to join!
