AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
WHY JOIN ANCC AFTER SCHOOL?
We strive to create innovative play-based experiences that participants won’t find anywhere else, at an affordable price. Through the dedication of our staff team, we allow for new role models to enter the lives of our participants, helping them build pathways for their futures.
The program is currently run by Rhys Desmond, a university instructor that teaches students how to create optimal environments for all to excel. Rhys has over a decade of experience creating safe and fun spaces for children and youth to excel in recreation and sports.
Our leaders are all dedicatedly trained on how to create optimal environments for participants to both enjoy programs and learn new skills.
They are never afraid to showcase their own personalities to the participants – thus allowing our participants to feel comfortable doing the same.
Our program leaders Karlyn, Alicia, Ashley, Bella, Ethan, Julia, Heli, and Hamza are all HIGH FIVE and First Aid-CPR certified. They celebrate the success of our kids every day, and deeply care about being part of their development.

We are community centered, and plan each day to meet the needs of each individual child in our program. Every leader on our After School Club team is committed to providing an inclusive, accepting and safe environment to encourage personal growth through fun and enriching play-based opportunities.

Our After School Program runs Monday to Friday all school year. The program provides a fun and educational experience for children grades 1 to 6, filled with physical activity, health & nutrition education, wellness, and personal development.
2024-2025 REGISTRATION
JUNE 10 - 8:00AM
1. One registration form must be completed for each child. Email jamie@alisonneighbourhood.org to request the registration form.
2. Cost for After School Club is $50 per month (contingent on funding). Registration requires payment of first and last month's fees.
