  • Upon arrival, all staff are required to wear a medical or non-medical face mask, conduct a health screening and temperature check, logging the date and time of the screen and utlize alcohol based hand santizer with minimum 60% alcohol

  • All staff are asked to maintain a physical distance of at least 2m at all times

  • Our staff will not report to work if they are experiencing symptoms of any illness, no matter how minor

  • Any employee who is experiencing symptoms, has traveled outside of Canada, or has come into contact with a positive or suspected case of COVID-19 will be required to stay home from work for a minimum of 14 days

  • Staff may return to work upon completion of the 14-day isolation period or upon receipt of a negative COVID-19 Test and be symptom free for 24 hours

  • We have provided all staff access to personal protective equipment should they require it (face masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves)

Our Families

  • We ask that our participants stay home if they are experiencing symptoms of any illness, no matter how minor

  • Upon arrival all participants are required to wear a medical or non-medical face mask when indoors

  • A staff member will then conduct a health screening and temperature check, logging the date and time of the screen to ensure accurate contact tracing should the need arise and utilize alcohol based hand santizer with a minimum of 60% alcohol

  • All participants are encouraged  to maintain a physical distance of 2m at all times

  • Any participant who is experiencing symptoms, has traveled outside of Canada, or has come into contact with a positive or suspected case of COVID-19 will be required to stay home for a minimum of 14 days

  • Should a participant have an onset of symptoms while attending program they will be isolated from their group with a staff or volunteer and an emergency contact will be contacted immediately for pick-up

  • We require the affected child and any symptomatic siblings attending program to self-isolate at home for a minimum of 14 days or resume program upon the receipt of a negative COVID-19 test and have been symptom free for 24 hours

  • If the sibling of an affected participant is asymptomatic (no symptoms present), the sibling is permitted to attend our programs

  • Those considered to be a high risk contact will be contacted by Region of Waterloo Public health and provided with instructions for next steps

  • We have provided all participants access to personal protective equipment should they require it (face masks and hand sanitizer)

  • Participants are not required to wear a face covering when outdoors, however, they are encouraged to have one available should physical distancing become a challenge (e.g, when conducting first aid)

Our Space

  • Currently, the majority of our programs are being facilitated outdoors and at The Cambridge Vineyard to ensure proper physical distancing

  • All indoor program space is vacuumed and mopped, all hard surfaces are sanitized and disinfected before and after each program use, and all frequent touchpoints are sanitized by staff upon entry and exit

  • We have limited registration numbers to many of our programs to adhere to physical distancing guidelines and room capacities

  • We are only accepting scheduled visits by community members at this time to limit the number of people in our space

  • We have adapted to online registration for most of our programs, if you are interested in registering please do so HERE
